More community spirit to Aalto University! Community Section Aava gives you the opportunity to plan and implement events and other activities for students. Aava plays an important role in promoting, renewing, and maintaining the Aalto culture.

Museum Section and Committee

EduJory

EduJory is AYY's advocacy section consisting of persons in charge of student representatives at different schools and the Chair of the Study Council.

Each school has its own person in charge of student representatives, who brings together their school’s student representatives in administration regularly, as well as coordinates the flow of information and the advocacy goals of the school. Edujory is AYY's section responsible for coordinating the student representative activities as well as ensuring their continuity and the development of activities. The section consists of persons in charge of student representatives at different schools and the Chair of the Study Council. EduJory is chaired by a member of the AYY Board and the policy specialist responsible for academic affairs acts as its secretary.

Teekkari Assembly

Teekkari Assembly is Aalto University Student Union’s organ which decides on the culture of technical students and meets a few times a year. Technical student guilds and the student nation act as the decision-making members of the assembly. Teekkari Assembly chairs take care of meeting arrangements in close collaboration with the AYY Board and Teekkari Section.

To apply for the position of the chair or vice chair of Teekkari Assembly, please submit your application by email to [email protected]. Applications will be shared with Teekkari Assembly representatives, who will propose the Teekkari Assembly chair and vice chair for 2025 at the Teekkari Assembly 3/24 on 19 Nov for the AYY Board. TEK Council and Youth Committee

To apply as AYY's representative for TEK council and committee, please send your application to [email protected] by 2 Jan 2025. 

The General Council is TEK’s highest decision-making body, to which AYY has the right to appoint one ordinary member and one deputy as student representatives. The Council meets twice a year. More information on the Council can be found on TEK website.

In the Youth Committee, you can influence TEK’s decisions from the perspective of students and recent graduates. The Youth Committee also serves as an information channel for student activities between university cities.
