AYY is looking for a peak season worker for August-September

AYY is looking for a peak season worker for the Student Union’s member services for a three-week part-time employment relationship. The duties mainly include distributing academic year tags at the distribution point in Otaniemi to members who have paid the membership fee and, if necessary, assisting in other student union member service tasks.

The duration of the work is three weeks between 24 Aug–11 Sept 2020. The working hours are 11am–6pm on weekdays. In the first week, the working hours are from 12noon to 5pm and in the next two weeks from 11am to 6pm.

Applicants are expected to have good IT skills, be proficient in Finnish and English, and have a positive customer service attitude. Organisational experience from AYY or other student organisations is considered an asset. The work is independent and responsible.

A brief introduction to the work is arranged before starting in the position. The salary is in accordance with the competence category I of the collective agreement of student unions (basic salary in full-time employment is EUR 1472.24 per month, notional salary in this position is approximately €900).
