Craft room
The craft room is a small but well-equipped facility built alongside a bicycle cellar at Jämeräntaival 6. AYY members can book the craft room for their use.
AYY is simplifying the booking for rental facilities by standardising user hours and rental prices. Changes will take effect on 1 Jan 2025. The price changes will not affect reservations that have already been made; those bookings will remain valid at the price in effect at the time of booking. The new user hours and sauna heating schedules will apply from 1 Jan 2025 onward, without exceptions.
The changes do not apply to all facilities. More information here.
AYY's Craft Room and Studio can now be accessed with a code! You can access to all one-time rental facilities with a booking-specific code, which you can find in your booking information in the Tila system. You only need to collect a key from the Service Office (Mon, Wed & Fri 12-15) when booking the van.
Please note! The access route to the Studio has changed. The entrance to the Studio (Jämeräntaival 1) is via the basement corridor known as the Cultural Corridor on the side of Otakaari 20. Watch the video tutorial here.
Private individuals, i.e. individual students who make a reservation for their own use, pay the facility rent already at the time of booking. Facility reservations are made as usual in the Tila calendar. After making the reservation, Tila guides the booker to Paytrail payment service, where payment can be made using online banking or debit and credit cards.
Separately agreed billing customers, such as external bookers and specific associations within AYY, will receive the e-invoice/e-mail invoice at the address they have provided.
