Internationality
Is it easy for Aalto students to go on student exchange? Do international and Finnish students get to know each other? Are international students employed in Finland after their graduation? Will education remain free for everyone?
The objective of the international sector is that Aalto would provide its students with diverse, functional and rewarding internationalisation opportunities both in Finland and abroad. We work to ensure that the international degree and exchange students would have high-quality and free education, comprehensive services, good employment opportunities after their graduation and plenty of opportunities to participate in the activities of the student community.

Employee’s comment
”The objective of the international sector is to achieve an international Aalto where Finnish and international students do not stay in their own separate groups but act together in courses, associations and the everyday life. In international affairs, you can get involved in all kinds of activities ranging from event organising to the development of teaching and services to international conferences. You need English skills, an open attitude towards different cultures and plenty of enthusiasm to build an international academic community.”
