In addition, grand viziers participate in the training and instructing of tutors together with AYY’s international sector. They also maintain regular contact with the school, AYY and guild members in charge of international affairs. The school will pay a one-time fee of €500 to each grand vizier at the end of the year. We expect interest in internationality, fluent English skills and enthusiasm to improve the reception of international students and make their stay at Aalto enjoyable. The knowledge of the school in question and its student organisations, as well as experience of acting as an international tutor or in a similar task are considered advantages. The grand vizier is responsible for the recruitment of international tutors of incoming exchange students and Master’s degree students, as well as the coordination of tutoring activities throughout the year.
